Robert Wiedenbeck trained as a hearing care professional before completing a B.Sc. in Hearing Acoustics at Technische Hochschule Lübeck, where he worked on bioacoustic signal classification using machine learning in his bachelor thesis.
He then obtained an M.Sc. in Hearing Acoustics and Audiological Engineering at the University of Lübeck, focusing on speech intelligibility and listening effort using psychoacoustic measurement methods and data-driven analysis.
During his studies, he also gained experience at the German Institute for Hearing Devices (DHI) in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited environment.
He is currently a research associate at the Institute of Psychology, University of Lübeck.
