Welcome to the Psychological Health Lab

Our lab studies various aspects of mental health and psychological well-being, including happiness and life satisfaction, affective well-being and a sense of purpose. We study cross-cultural variability of well-being, well-being experiences in daily life, the transactions between life events and well-being development, and the role of digital technologies (social media, remote work, online dating) in shaping individuals’ experience of well-being.

Our research relies on a variety of methodological approaches, including cross-national survey data, longitudinal and intensive longitudinal studies, online and lab experiments, dyadic and round-robin designs, language analysis and computational social science methods.

We adhere to the Open Science Practices: study materials, data and analyses code underlying our publications can be found at the OSF page.
